Initial Blog

Hello everyone.

This is a new Blog about British Mining.

I was employed in the British coal mining industry from 1975 to 1988. After redundancy, I have also had a successful career in IT management and at present I am pursuing another direction of employment.

I aim to bring together in this Blog all different aspects of mining in the UK, past, present and future.

Some of the articles and listings may include items that have previously been published, where known I will attribute the original author. Sorry if I miss anyone, but get in touch to rectify the ommission.
